About us

Hatome Studio is and art, illustration and design studio. It is located in Penge, South London, in our garden. It is where I, Yolanta, work on my paintings, illustrations and graphic design projects. I came to London 20 years ago from Poland, after obtaining an MA in Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Lodz.

We live close to the beautiful Crystal Palace Park, where the dinosaurs' statues were installed amongst the lakes in Victorian times. The park, the dinosaurs and the iconic Crystal Palace Transmitter feature often in my art.

Working in the garden studio, surrounded by ever changing seasonal plants and visited by birds, squirrels and occasional cats, I dream up and experiment with new images. The designs are often inspired by my favorite period, Mid Century.
